I wanted to send you a note to thank you for a couple of things.  First, the conference.  Wow.  It truly was one of the most informative and inspirational events I have attended in my life.  I just got so much out of it, as did everyone I spoke with who attended.  The ripple effect from those few days will be felt for a very long time.  So thank you so much for that.  Well done!  more

Should I let my daughter quit soccer or insist she continue because quitting is not the right thing to do and participating in team sports is a valuable experience? Should I run to my four-year-old son in every moment of crisis or are there times when he needs to pick himself up, dust himself off and keep going on his own? These are the types of questions every parent struggles with. more

Like most families our lives are filled with school, activities, birthday parties and play dates – yet, amidst our hectic days, I can’t help but wonder if these things are teaching my kids life’s most valuable lessons. I try to teach them right from wrong, how to do their best, be kind to others and to use good manners, and yet I question if I am doing the best I can to prepare them for a fulfilling life. more
