His Holiness the Dalai Lama Visits Vancouver

The Institute of Asian Research, University of British Columbia, invited His Holiness to Vancouver April 18-20, 2004. The visit was organized as a unique collaboration between the University of British Columbia, the Tibetan Cultural Society of BC, the Westcoast Sacred Arts Society, the Vancouver Symphony Orchestra, Simon Fraser University and a coalition of local dharma centers. Over 30,000 people were able to participate in one or more of seven main events.
