Thank you for your interest in supporting the Dalai Lama Center for Peace and Education. We are grateful for your generous contribution.

The Center is a charitable trust and registered charity (Registration #82460 2676 RR0001).

How you can support the Center's mission:

The Center gratefully receives donations to support its mission and provides receipts for all donations. Receipts are tax deductible in Canada. US donors may also donate through the Tides Foundation and receive charitable receipts for US tax purposes (minimum donation of $1,000 required). See "Donate by Mail" below.

With consent, donations will be publicized annually on the DLC website, and in other DLC publications, beginning in January 2010. Please click here to read more about our commitment to your privacy. Recognition for larger donations is currently offered on a case by case basis. If you have questions in this regard, please contact the DLC.

Donors may make a general donation or designate their gift for a specific programs or programs. Specific Center programs to which donors may direct their gifts include:

Please download, then complete and sign the attached form and fax it to 1-866-887-9919. (Please write clearly and use a dark pen).We accept Visa, Mastercard, and American Express. Designated gifts must be arranged by mail or in person. Gifts from the US donors who wish to receive charitable receipts for US tax purposes should follow the instructions below.

US donors

US donors who wish to receive receipts for US tax purposes should direct their donations through the Tides Foundation.  Download and complete the attached form, completing highlighted sections and mail it with your cheque to the Tides Foundation in San Fransisco, as indicated on the form.  Tides Foundation will issue a receipt directly to you and will facilitate transfer to the Dalai Lama Center for Peace and Education, less a 1.5% administration fee. Charitable donation receipts are provided by the Tides Foundation within 4-6 weeks.  Note: a minimum donation of $1,000 is required in this case.
