POWER DYNAMICS OF BULLYING:
A RESTORATIVE JUSTICE APPROACH

with Dr. Brenda Morrison on Jan 30

How are we preparing our children for the challenges they face everyday at school, at home, at hockey practice or at dance class? How do we know if our children are truly thriving?

DO YOU CARE FOR OR ABOUT CHILDREN?

Bullying is a growing concern. Children experience it at school, in the playground, and in the community. How can we help children respond in a compassionate way?

Explore an approach to help people move from retribution to compassion, from fear to hope. Conflict is a normal part of life. It can either shut us down or it can provide an opportunity to better understand each other.

Dr. Brenda Morrison is a Co-Director of the Centre for Restorative Justice and an Assistant Professor in the School of Criminology at Simon Fraser University.

She is a social psychologist with field experience in outdoor education, government administration and restorative justice. A particular focus of her work relates to schools communities, and the institutions that serve these communities.
