Q: How do YOU "brush your brain" to foster compassion and creativity?

"If we start seeing compassion and creativity as forms of brain hygiene, perhaps we can introduce a practice of brushing your brain every day, just like our teeth."

things are miraculous when you wrongfully view them from above... stand under and you will understand them. i don't take miracle to be the ending state of phenomena it is only beginning of the upcoming development of their better understanding.

i say to my self "humans do not exist, they are pure illusion... there's no other besides ME, here is only EDEN O' Ahme (One Noah ME, math of which is 1) and the rest of the numbers are piece of cake". now i have to go wide on it >>> why is the snake from EDEN offering the forbidden fruit to Adam & Eva? bits me, but if it is not futile offer then the snake may go greedier for even more profit. i know another illusionary specie that is such benefit driven -- the mankind -- the eternally greedy for more commodity on the harm of everything around them including the very nature (p-mobile over unity imbalance machine is against nature's Thermo Dynamic Principles yet mankind has no troubles grabbing for over unity income... if all your machines are doomed to work with real waste how do you human end up profitable?). consequence of tasting the forbidden fruit (sex until pregnancy) is Adam & Eva thrown out of EDEN (they are no longer immortals cause via sex until pregnancy they gave their life to their offspring and cause life is one with giving it away they have lost it for good) and the human kids and kind became... so what's the use that the snake may have from mankind's becoming, if the snake is not their true ancestor. the mankind didn't evolve from monkeys along their work when they learned to count and bewared for the holiness of the number One as Darwin theorizes but they evolved from the Eden's evil (the snake is Satan's manifest of Devil's evil) inheriting along from that evil the ability to judge, punish, do crime and similar. compassion towards them damn humans ??? NO, NO, NEVER !!! compassion from me may get only numbers and i'm sure they'll make me top creative in return.

I brush my brain by listening to other people. I find that I learn the most about myself when I talk to people who seem very different from me. It really challenges my world view and helps me see things from different perspectives. It is inspiring and wonderful to realize something about yourself through another person. I have experienced nothing better.

1st: I accept and recognize that my brain is a powerful tool...and that like all parts of me, it wants to develop itself, to expand its potential...

Every morning, I start my day by «brushing» off illusions (plaque :-) and I say to myself: «Today, I open my heart and my mind to others and to myself».

When your brain accepts to be driven by your heart, you can finally clear (clean :-) your mind and discover what real power is all about...

dear dr. siegel,
an often forgotten aspect of a potential negative impact to the neurodevelopment of an infant/toddler is their oral health.
Far too many are suffering from untreated early childhood caries-dental decay- with resultant chronic toothaches, abscesses, sleep deprivation, malnutrition etc.
28%of children5 and younger of all USA children have some dental caries and 23% of those never get treatment(cdc data).

So when you ask about brushing your brain,I thought I that you needed to become aware of this serious health issue.

Both Tai Chi (for me it is 'moving meditation' and a meditation practice are the most effective ways for me to 'brush my brain"

I imagine what kind of environment a person needed to adapt in order to survive and that creates a lot of space for compassion.
