Natalia Angheli-Zaicenco is DLC Communications Manager. Before joining the Center, she worked as a journalist, communications consultant and trainer in different parts of the world. Natalia has covered major political, economic and social news for AP international wire, provided commentary and analysis for BBC World Service, as well as for a variety of specialized print publications across Europe. She has worked with several non-profit organizations in Eastern Europe, Central Asia and Canada to develop and implement effective communications strategies and operational plans. Natalia's academic background includes BA in English Language and Literature from Chisinau State University, Moldova; MA in Journalism from the University of Missouri, MO, and PhD in Linguistics from the University of Bucharest, Romania. She is fluent in English, Romanian and Russian, and is conversant in French and German.
