Sponsors and Volunteers

The Vancouver Dialogues 2006 would not be possible without the generous support of institutions and individuals throughout the Lower Mainland. We would like to express our sincere appreciation to all the sponsors and volunteers who have graciously donated their time and support to the Dialogues and to the establishment of the Dalai Lama Center for Peace and Education.

See Support the Center for information on volunteer opportunities and ways to support the Center.

Security

Access to the various Dialogues will be subject to security controls. All electronic equipment such as cameras, sound and video recording systems are prohibited. Cell phones, Blackberries, Palm Pilots, etc. must be turned off. Backpacks or large bags of any kind are not permitted in any of the venue sites (strictly enforced).

Seating

It is important for everyone to be in their designated seat before the Dalai Lama arrives at the venue. Attendees are asked to arrive at least one hour prior to commencement of each event.

There will be a musical interlude and a Tibetan bazaar prior to the commencement of the public talk.

Special Needs

The venues are accessible to persons with special needs.
