PEP TALKS Series

PEP Talks www.PEPTalkSeries.com, is a new speaker series presented by the Vancouver International Children’s Festival. PEP Talks brings to Vancouver four compelling speakers over four consecutive months (March through June 2013) to delve into the challenging and sometimes messy world of parenting today’s millennial child.

PEP Talks events is a parenting educational program that takes place at the Vancouver Playhouse (600 Hamilton St.) on March 7, April 10, May 15 and June 12 at 7:30 pm. Ticket prices are $130 for the entire series or $35 per speaker, with net proceeds to benefit the Vancouver International Children’s Festival.

Speakers and topics are: Lenore Skenazy (March 7) on “Free Range Kids”; Sheryl Feinstein (April 10) on “The Adolescent Brain”; Deborah MacNamara (May 15) on “The Lost Art of Play: Helping Children Grow Up”; and  Lisa Bloom (June 12) “Raising Smart Kids in the New Millenium”
