Current sources of financial support include individual donors, event fees and ticket revenue, and grants.

The DLC also negotiates corporate sponsorships, which offer the Center the opportunity to engage and collaborate with socially responsible businesses to fulfill its mission, and to enable such businesses to obtain recognition and other promotional benefits.

Thank you to the Edith Lando Foundation, our Founding Partner for Skills for Life for Families. Their generous support of this program and leadership role in social and emotional learning (SEL) has had a tremendous impact on the well-being of families, children, and youth in BC.

We are so pleased to be partnering with the United Way of the Lower Mainland to provide Heart-Mind Well-Being training and resources for the School's Out program!

We gratefully acknowledge the instrumental support of the Vancouver Foundation for our Heart-Mind in Schools pilot project, as we work towards system wide social emotional learning practices for students and educators at schools throughout BC.

The Dalai Lama is universally recognized as a symbol of peace. He is among a handful of living persons who command the respect, admiration and attention of many. His prestige is not based on worldly power but on his legendary warmth, integrity and compassion for all.

The Dalai Lama Center offers an unparalleled opportunity to transform the Dalai Lama’s values into a resource for the whole world. And Vancouver is blessed that the Dalai Lama has graciously offered his name and time to this one-of-a-kind institution. Such opportunities do not come along often.

Your help is much needed. The Dalai Lama Center is an ambitious and complex project. Achieving its goals depend on the goodwill, energy and financial support of concerned individuals and organizations.
