The Elders

The Dalai Lama Center for Peace and Education would like to spread the word about The Elders, an independent group of eminent global leaders, brought together by Nelson Mandela, who offer their collective influence and experience to support peace building, help address major causes of human suffering and promote the shared interests of humanity.

Vancouver Peace Summit speakers Desmond Tutu, Ela Bhatt and Mary Robinson are a part of this group that boasts so many important and inspiring voices.
