Mpho Tutu to accept Fetzer Prize on father's behalf

Archbishop Desmond Tutu's daugther Rev Mpho Tutu will accept on her father's behalf the inaugural

Fetzer Prize for Love and Forgiveness to be shared with His Holiness The Dalai Lama. The prize is being awarded to His Holiness and Tutu for their inspiring and exemplary commitment to advancing humanity’s understanding of the power of love, forgiveness, and compassion.

Mpho Tutu is accepting the prize on her father's behalf as he is convalescing and unable to attend the ceremony. She will also be participating in the panel discussion at World Peace through Personal Peace alongside His Holiness, Matthieu Ricard and Eckhart Tolle.

The DLC is also pleased to announce that additional tickets for all four sesions at the Vancouver Peace Summit are being released by Ticketmaster this week.
