Last month, Richie Davidson, Founder and Chair of the Center for Investigating Healthy Minds (CIHM), at the Waisman Center, all at the University of Wisconsin-Madison, joined the UBC Institute of Mental Health and the Dalai Lama Center for a special noon-hour lecture.
Davidson offered a new model for understanding our emotions – their origins, their power and their malleability. He has discovered that personality is composed of six basic emotional “styles,” including resilience, self-awareness, and attention.
