Richie Davidson - The Emotional Life of Your Brain

Last month, Richie Davidson, Founder and Chair of the Center for Investigating Healthy Minds (CIHM), at the Waisman Center, all at the University of Wisconsin-Madison, joined the UBC Institute of Mental Health and the Dalai Lama Center for a special noon-hour lecture.

Davidson offered a new model for understanding our emotions – their origins, their power and their malleability. He has discovered that personality is composed of six basic emotional “styles,” including resilience, self-awareness, and attention.
