Yesterday, Clyde Hertzman, Canada's health researcher of the year and Vancouver Peace Summit participant was honoured with a $500,000 award for his work on early childhood development.
The money awarded to Hertzman will go toward employing Human Early Learning Partnership and its Early Development Instrument in Latin America, China and Europe. He is also planning to develop a tool to evaluate the respect towards children's rights.
