The Dalai Lama Center was fortunate enough to have two representatives from BRAC at the 2009 Vancouver Peace Summit. BRAC founder Fazle Hasan Abed and BRAC USA founder Susan Davis both participated in the closing Summit event, Women and Peace-Building and shared their experiences with empowering women in the developing world.
