John Helliwell

John Helliwell has spent three evenings with the DLC as a part of the Speakers Series. He first joined Richie Davidson for a dialogue on October 28, 2006 and then joined Elizabeth Dunn and Bill Harbaugh on June 16, 2010 for “Money, Generosity and Happiness”.

Most recently, on February 28th, 2012, Dr. Helliwell, one of the leading minds investigating what makes us happy, joined us for a special Speakers Series event, "Enhancing Quality of Life: Latest Advances in the Science of Happiness". Dr. Helliwell combines scientific evidence with stories to illustrate where research on happiness is heading, and how its results can be used to improve your quality of life.
