On Thursday, March 11, the Dalai Lama Center for Peace and Education will be hosting one of the most influential psychologists of the 20th century for a special Speaker Series event.
Dr Paul Ekman will be giving a talk entitled “Darwin, the Dalai Lama and the nature of compassion”, which looks at the connection between an evolutionary and a Buddhist view of human nature and will provide a new formulation of the nature of empathy, compassion, altruism and heroism.
