Educating the Heart: A Global Aspiration

"To reduce hatred and other destructive emotions, we must develop
their opposites – compassion and kindness"
- His Holiness the Dalai Lama

Heart-Mind Learning

There is a growing body of research that shows that children who develop strong social and emotional skills are less likely to run into problems with drug and alcohol, violence and bullying.

They have a more positive attitude towards and do better in school. And they grow into adults who have the skills that today’s employers consider important for the workforce of the future.

Simply put, they are happier, and get along with others.

Heart-Mind education emphasizes, not only academic achievement, but also the development of the social and emotional strengths that help children to be responsible, collaborative, confident and caring.
